Based on the motto „ Innovation by Cooperation“ the management of Vital Solutions GmbH together with Prof. Dr. Peschke, department for food technology, invited customer and cooperation partner to the official opening of a new product development laboratory.
The official opening ceremony did take place on November 27th in Berlin.

The reason for the set up of a laboratory at the Beuth University is the cooperation with the department for food technology, which allows Vital Solutions to optimize its product development process and to add a new area of expertise, said Norbert Weitkemper, Managing Director at Vital Solutions. In the future Vital Solutions will be able to support customers with application concepts of their health ingredients into modern delivery formats and functional foods matrices. The new competence supports the competitiveness of Vital Solutions customers within the growing functional food market.
In parallel Vital Solutions supports the interdisciplinary education of students by offering internships, bachelor and master projects, said Dr. Sybille Buchwald-Werner, Managing Director at Vital Solutions. The tight interaction between university and industry promotes quality of research, knowledge transfer and facilitates the innovation potential.
The president of Beuth University, Prof. Dr. Monika Gross, and the dean of Life Sciences and Technology, Prof. Dr. Diana Graubaum participated in the opening ceremony. They expressed their welcome to Vital Solutions engagement at Beuth University and highlighted the benefits for their students.
